SunLife appoints Medialab for £ 30million media account

SunLife has appointed Medialab to manage its estimated £ 30million media planning and buying account.

All Response Media was previously the long-standing media agency in the UK market.

SunLife specializes in providing financial services, including life insurance, equity release and funeral plans for those over 50.

The brand turned to Medialab “to create a data and information planning partnership on offline and digital marketing investments and campaign attribution to deliver transformative results in a highly competitive industry,” according to a press release from the two companies.

Ian Cooper, Head of Distribution at SunLife, said: “We have been impressed with Medialab’s data capacity, coupled with an extremely talented and passionate team, and we look forward to working together to achieve SunLife’s ambitious goals. “

Marcus Orme, Founder and CEO of Medialab, said: “It is an honor to be chosen by SunLife as a growth partner at such an important time for their business. Our organizations are aligned in the ambition to create insight from data to gain and develop valuable clients for SunLife and we are excited about the collaborative journey that lies ahead. “

Orme founded Medialab in 2005 and describes the company not as an agency but as a “data marketing partnership that consistently delivers transformative results for the organizations we believe in”.

Stewart Easterbrook, former UK Managing Director of Starcom Mediavest Group, is Chairman of Medialab.

SunLife, which was founded in 1810 in London and Bristol, spends £ 30million a year on media in the UK, according to an estimate by Nielsen.
